What happens if your trolling motor shaft is too long?
It’s important to choose the length of the motor shaft. If the shaft length is too short, it will not be deep enough below the water surface, and if it is too long, it will be prone to bending due to the forces it is subject to.
Is Minn Kota shaft adjustable?

Will a 45 inch shaft trolling motor work on a pontoon boat?
