Is side imaging good on trolling motor?
If they fish a lot of docks, they like to have the side imager mounted on the bottom of the troll motor. There are dock posts, brush around the dock and sometimes bass under the dock. You won’t see anything until you get past the mount.

They aren’t made to work sitting still or barely moving, they are made to work from a moving boat. You’re not going to get detailed images of what’s below the boat if you change the fish finder speed and settings.
